COBA Major Player of the Week - Joe Ferreira
The COBA Major Zero K Bats Player of the Week is Joe Ferreira of the Brampton Royals. Ferreira, the veteran P/1B with the Royals, had a great week as he played in three games and went 7-for-12 (.583) with two homeruns, three doubles, two singles and three walks. He also scored four runs while collecting eight RBIs and a pair of stolen bases.
On the season, Ferreira is now hitting .420 (21-for-50) with four homeruns and four doubles. He has also scored 11 runs while collecting 15 RBIs. Congratulations to Joe Ferreira; the COBA Major League Player of the Week

COBA Major Pitcher of the Week - Jacob Renpenning
The COBA Major Sam Bat Pitcher of the week is Jacob Renpenning. Renpenning, the rookie hurler for the Metros, had a very good week. In his sole appearance, he tossed six shutout innings in collecting his first COBA Major League win. He allowed only one hit and struck out a eye popping 14 batters.
For the season, Renpenning now sits with a 1-2 record. In his 18 2/3 innings of work, he has allowed 15 runs (11 earned) on just seven hits hits good for a 5.30 ERA. He has walked 26 batters while striking out 34. Congratulations to Jacob Renpenning; the COBA Major Pitcher of the Week.

COBA Major Team of the Week - Mississauga SW Twins
The COBA Major Zingers Bats Team of the Week are the Mississauga SW Twins. This is their first time winning this honor this year as the Twins went 2-0 in league play. They started off their week winning at home 12-2 over the Burlington Brants. They followed that up with a 13-1 win over the Niagara Metros on the road at George Taylor Field.
With the pair of victories, Mississauga SW now sits at 8-6 on the season good for 2nd place in the Andrews Division currently. Congratulations to the Mississauga SW Twins; the COBA Major Team of the Week.
