Here are the COBA Major Week XII POWs and Team of the Week:

 

COBA Major Player of the Week - Tim Sogan

The COBA Major Zero K Bats Player of the Week is Tim Sogan of the Burlington Brants.This is the second time capturing this honor this season for the veteran outfielder.  For his week, he went 2-for-5 with a triple and a pair of RBI in the Brants only game of the week.

 

On the season, Sogan is now hitting .434 (23-for-53) with four home runs, two triples and four doubles. He has also scored 8 runs while collecting 20 RBI. Congratulations to Tim Sogan; the COBA Major League Player of the Week

COBA Major Pitcher of the Week - Cam Ryerson

The COBA Major Sam Bat Pitcher of the week is Cam Ryerson of the Burlington Brants. Ryerson, the veteran hurler for the Brants, had a very good week collecting a win in his only appearance this week. He tossed eight innings allowing two runs (both earned) scattering seven hits. He walked a pair of batters while striking out seven.

 

For the season, Ryerson now sits with a 4-0 record with a save. In his 41 2/3 innings of work, he has allowed 13 runs (11 earned) on 36 hits good for a 2.38 ERA. He has walked 21 batters while striking out 42. Congratulations to Cam Ryerson; the COBA Major Pitcher of the Week.

COBA Major Team of the Week - Burlington Brants

The COBA Major Zingers Bats Team of the Week are the Burlington Brants. This is their second time winning this honor this year as the Brants went 1-0 in league play. In their sole league game of the week, the defeated the Niagara Metros 6-3 on the road at George Taylor Field.

 

With the victory, Burlington now sits at 7-10-1 on the season good for 2nd place in the Johnson Division currently. Congratulations to the Burlington Brants; the COBA Major Team of the Week.
