COBA Major Player of the Week - Steve Gallant

The COBA Major Zero K Bats Player of the Week is Steve Gallant of the Erindale Cardinals.This is Gallant's first time winning a weekly award this year. For his week, he played one game going 2-for-4 with a home run and a single. He scored two runs while collecting three RBI.

COBA Major Pitcher of the Week - Jason Schneider

The COBA Major Sam Bat Pitcher of the week is Jason Schneider. The veteran hurler takes down this honor for the first time this season. In his only appearance this week, he collected the win in relief allowing no runs and no hits over 1 2/3 innings. He walked no one while striking out three batters.

 

For the season, Schneider now sits with a 3-2 record. In his 31 innings of work, he has allowed 22 runs (12 earned) on 34 hits good for a 3.48 ERA. He has walked 18 batters while striking out 28. Congratulations to Jason Schneider; the COBA Major Pitcher of the Week.

COBA Major Team of the Week - Milton Red Sox

The COBA Major Zingers Bats Team of the Week are the Milton Red Sox. This is their second time winning this honor this year as the Red Sox went 1-0 in league play. They defeated the Mississauga SW Twins by a score of 9-7 on the road at Clarkson Park.

 

With the wins, Milton now sits with an 7-13 record on the season good for 4th place in the Johnson Division currently. Congratulations to the Milton Red Sox; the COBA Major Team of the Week.
