COBA Major Player of the Week - Michael Ferracuti
The COBA Major Zero K Bats Player of the Week is Michael Ferracuti of the Etobicoke Rangers. This is the first weekly award for Michael this year. For his week, he played one game batting 1.000 (3-for-3) with two doubles and added an HBP for a 1.000 OBP as well. He scored three runs, collected two RBIs and had one stolen base.
For the season, Ferracuti is now hitting at a .429 clip (24-for-56). He has six doubles and a pair of home runs while plating 15 runs and driving in 20 RBIs.

COBA Major Pitcher of the Week - Mike Grilli
The COBA Major Sam Bat Pitcher of the week is Mike Grilli of the Burlington Brants. The veteran hurler takes down this honor for the first time this season. In his only appearance this week, he collected the win as he tossed three innings allowing no runs on just two hits. He walked two while striking out two.
Grilli now sports a 1-1 record on the year. He has thrown 9 1/3 innings and allowed 10 runs (seven earned) on 12 hits for a 6.68 ERA. He has walked only six batters while striking out seven.

COBA Major Team of the Week - Etobicoke Rangers
The COBA Major Zingers Bats Team of the Week are the Etobicoke Rangers. The Rangers had one game this week as they went 1-0 on the week leaving no doubt as they beat the Oakville A's 12-0 in a home game that was played at the 9th Line Sports Park in Mississauga.
With the wins, Etobicoke now sits at 9-3-2 on the season good for 20 points overall and are currently in 2nd place a point behind the league leading Burlington Brants.
