The COBA Major Zero K Bats Player of the Week is Elijah Hammil of the Erindale Cardinals. This is the first weekly award for Eli this year. For his week, he played one game batting 1.000 (4-for-4) with a double and three home runs. He scored three runs, collected seven RBIs.
For the season, Hammil, a call up to the Sr Cards, is now hitting .500 clip (4-for-8). He has a double and three home runs while plating four runs and driving in 8 RBIs.

COBA Major Pitcher of the Week - Andrew Hyde
The COBA Major Sam Bat Pitcher of the week is Andrew Hyde of the Etobicoke Rangers. The veteran hurler takes down this honor for the second time this season. In his only appearance this week, he collected the win as he tossed six innings allowing no runs on just three hits. He walked no one while striking out five.
Grilli now sports a 4-1 record on the year. He has thrown 36 innings and allowed 18 runs (10 earned) on 33 hits for a 2.50 ERA. He has walked only six batters while striking out 41.

COBA Major Team of the Week - Oakville A's
The COBA Major Zingers Bats Team of the Week are the Oakville A's. The A's had three games this week as they went 3-0 on the week with wins over the Milton Red Sox at home 7-4 and a double header sweep of the Burlington Brants on the road by scores of 11-8 and 15-10.
With the wins, Oakville now sits at 4-15 on the season good for 8 points overall and are currently in the basement of the COBA Major Baseball League standings but have some momentum heading into the Elims next week.
