Here are the COBA Major League Week XIII POWs and Team of the Week:

 

COBA Major Player of the Week - Andrew Mullin

The COBA Major Zero K Bats Player of the Week is Andrew Mullin of the Erindale Cardinals. This is the first weekly award for the veteran Mullin this year. For his week, he played two games batting .750 (6-for-8) with two home runs, two doubles and also had one walk. He scored five runs and collected 11 RBIs.

 

For the season, Mullin, who predominantly is a pitcher, is now hitting at a .386 clip (11-for-30). Six of his 11 hits are round trippers. He also has two doubles while scoring 11 runs and amassing 18 RBIs to this point in the season.

COBA Major Pitcher of the Week - Chris Cloes

The COBA Major Sam Bat Pitcher of the week is Chris Cloes of the Milron Red Sox. The veteran hurler takes down this honor for the second time this season. In his only appearance this week, he collected the win as he tossed seven innings allowing four runs (one earned) on nine hits. He walked one while striking out five.

 

Cloes now sports a 4-1 record on the year. He has thrown 43 innings and allowed 17 runs (13 earned) on 42 hits for a solid 2.72 ERA. He has walked only six batters while striking out 32.

COBA Major Team of the Week - Milton Red Sox

The COBA Major Zinger Bats Team of the Week are the Milton Red Sox. The Red Sox had one game this week as they went 1-0 on the week with a solid 10-7 win over the Etobicoke Rangers. 

 

With the win, Milton now sits at 10-9-1 on the season good for 21 points overall and are currently in 4th place overall in the COBA Major Baseball League Standings.
